Welcome to Iberian Adventures !

Join us for an unforgettable active holiday in Spain—a land of inspiring landscapes, diverse nature, fascinating history, vibrant culture and warm hospitality. We offer a range of guided and self-guided walking and hiking holidays in Spain’s most beautiful and interesting regions.

Our “local” focus enables you to experience the best of each area’s scenery, fauna, flora, food, wine and accommodations whether hiking in Iberia’s major mountain ranges, walking on the pilgrimage trail along the Camino de Santiago or strolling among the vineyards of Spain’s wine country.

Our philosophy is to promote respectful interaction with local natural surroundings. For example, many of our walks are in protected areas, where it is not permitted to pick wild flowers or aromatic herbs, so we encourage walkers to take photos instead. In the alpine zones in general, we to stay on trail where possible to avoid irreparable damage to fragile alpine flora, and do our best not to disturb fauna, especially during mating or nesting seasons.

Just to give you an idea of what awaits you, consider that Spain has:

More wildlife, protected areas and varied natural environments than any other country in Western Europe

Many sparsely-populated rural regions, hardly touched by modern development, home to age-old traditions and sights long-since disappeared from most of Europe.

Thousands of superbly preserved ruins, monuments and buildings scattered throughout the countryside and in cities, towns and villages - testaments to a legendary history of invaders and inhabitants throughout the centuries - including Romans, Celts, Vandals, Visigoths, Moors, Jews and Christians. Many of these have been declared World Heritage sites by UNESCO – Spain has 38 such sites, the 2nd largest number in the world.

We have designed our tours for active people like you - who love the outdoors, history and culture! Come to visit us - and let us show you a different side of Spain - our way!
