This is a low growing, creeping plant with flowers of many shades of blue, from almost purple through to white. The individual flowers are 30 to 70mm in width. The long slender stems can spread up to 2m with oval dark green leaves set in pairs, spaced out along the whole length.
Habitat: Woodland, rocky scrub, banks, ditches, roadside

Distribution: Iberia to Italy and North West Africa
